About Me

Nicole San Martin- Therapist & Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI)

I believe lasting change happens when you understand how your mind and body work, not when you force yourself to be different.

Whether you're struggling with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, relationship patterns, or feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to help you understand what's happening beneath the surface so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

As someone who has personally experienced both ADHD and complex trauma, I understand what it feels like to search for answers, try every strategy, and wonder why things still feel harder than they should. Therapy helped me make sense of my own experiences, and it's a privilege to help others do the same.

My Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and deeply compassionate.

Clients often tell me they appreciate how engaged I am during sessions. I'm not a therapist who quietly nods from across the room. I ask questions, notice patterns, offer feedback, and help you connect the dots. I genuinely care about the people I work with, and I bring that energy into every session.

One of the things clients mention most is that they feel understood. There is nothing you could say in therapy that would make me judge you. My job is to help you understand yourself, not criticize you.

I combine insight, education, and evidence-based techniques to help you create meaningful change. Together, we'll explore why certain patterns developed, how your nervous system responds to stress, and what practical steps can help you heal and feel better.

My Background

_DSC2667b.jpg

I was born and raised in Miami and am proud to call Coral Gables home. I'm half Argentinian and consider myself a mix of cultures, languages, and experiences as a Miami native.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My path into therapy was shaped not only by my professional training but also by my own experiences with ADHD and trauma. Those experiences taught me how powerful it can be to have someone who truly understands what you're going through and knows how to help.

Outside of the therapy office, you'll usually find me trying a new fitness obsession. In true ADHD fashion, my interests rotate regularly between CrossFit, heated Pilates, yoga, soccer, and whatever catches my attention next.

I'm also a devoted cat person. My two cats currently live with my parents because my partner is allergic, and I miss them every day.
