With Nicole San Martin, Therapist & Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI)

I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life. As both a therapist and someone who lives with ADHD, I understand what it's like from both sides.

Do you feel behind, no matter how hard you work?
Do you wonder how someone as capable as you can feel like they're failing at everyday life?
Are you always rushing, catching up, or trying to stay one step ahead of the next thing that might fall through the cracks?

You look like you're holding it together from the outside, but most people don't see how much effort it takes. You know you're smart. You're just tired of feeling tormented by things that seem effortless for everyone else.

Together, we’ll change the script of how you talk to yourself.

  • Constantly behind

  • Burned out

  • Always overwhelmed

  • Feeling ashamed

  • Missing deadlines at work

  • Struggling to focus

  • Rushing to catch up

  • Barely keeping up

ADHD Clients Come To Me When They’re:

Many adults with ADHD spend years blaming themselves for symptoms that aren't character flaws.

Adult ADHD Therapy With Me

ADHD therapy isn't about forcing yourself to become someone you're not. It's about understanding how your brain operates and learning how to work with it instead of fighting it.

Together, we'll replace shame with understanding and build systems that fit your natural strengths. Instead of relying on willpower, you’ll learn how to recognize when your mind wants to focus and use that energy effectively.

Modalities I Use

Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills (DBT)

Builds skills for managing emotions, overwhelm, stress, and impulsive reactions.

Somatic Therapy

Helps you understand your nervous system, reduce stress, and stop muscling your way through life.

Trauma Incident Reduction

Helps process experiences that continue to trigger shame, anxiety, or self-criticism.

Psychoeducation

Learn how ADHD actually works so your symptoms make sense and stop feeling like personal failures.

My goal is for you to understand your psychology so well that you know how to work with your brain, manage stress, and stop comparing how you function to everyone else.

Build A Life That Works For You

When you stop measuring yourself against everyone else, life gets easier.

After Therapy With Me, Clients Report:

  • Greater self-confidence

  • Better sleep

  • Feeling calmer

  • More self-compassion

  • Better stress management

  • Increased focus

  • More peace of mind

About Nicole San Martin

My therapy is designed for adults with ADHD who are exhausted from feeling like they should be able to do better.

I know firsthand how confusing and frustrating ADHD can be, especially when you're capable, intelligent, and still struggling with everyday tasks.

Clients describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and extremely non-judgmental. There is nothing you could say in session that would make me judge you. I’m an active therapist who brings enthusiasm, problem-solving, and genuine care into our work. I'll celebrate your wins, help you understand your patterns, and teach you how your mind works.

Born and raised in Miami, I'm half Argentinian and I’m proud to be a multicultural Miami blend. I live in Coral Gables and keep changing my fitness routine in true ADHD fashion, from CrossFit to yoga, soccer, heated Pilates, and whatever catches my interest next. I also have two cats living with my parents because my partner is allergic, and I miss them every day.
